Hills Hay Maker Blend

A fine leaved diploid option offering flexibility through a blend of both early and late varieties as to when to cut that can be grazed too. It has plenty of early vigour and late flowering varieties to ensure there is always enough leaf to keep up the quality. This a popular proven blend we have been mixing year in year out.

The early feed option with true high performing, proven tetraploid varieties consisting of early and mid-flowering varieties to keep producing all season long. The is the allrounder, capable of early grazing, silage and late grazing making it flexible enough to keep management options open throughout the season. Plenty of clover for added spring quality too.

A high performing combination to produce palatable and productive forage.  Popany vetch is late-maturing and well suited to mid to high-rainfall areas for hay/ silage production. The ultra-fast early feed option with forage barley to get to first feed fastest combined with mid flowering ryegrasses to fill the spring gap. After the barley has run its race,  the persian clover brings improved spring feed quality and nitrogen fixation to support grass growth.
